Maybe he's a lawyer. Did you ever think about that?

But there's no paperwork involved to interpret, so no, I doubt he's a lawyer - maybe a politician trying to prove how brave he is???Netpackrat wrote:Maybe he's a lawyer. Did you ever think about that?
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

It wouldn't change the math.Netpackrat wrote:Maybe he's a lawyer. Did you ever think about that?
But I'd be happier about any untoward outcome.
Never happen though. Professional courtesy, and all that.

No, according to a Squadron Officer School classmate of mine (who quit the bar to join the AF as an aircraft maintenance officer, and fought hard to keep from being assigned as a JAG) it applies to venomous snakes as well.Greg wrote:Thought that was sharks.Netpackrat wrote:Ba-da-bing!Aesop wrote:Professional courtesy, and all that.
You can tell if a lawyer was driving down the road by looking for rattlesnakes sunning themselves in the middle. Normal people there are tire tracks over the snake. If it was a lawyer then there are skid marks leading up to the snake as the lawyer locked up his brakes, due to professional courtesy.

I thought it was that you could tell the difference between a dead lawyer in the road and a dead skunk in the road by the skid marks in front of the skunk.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Wow, going from "Objection!" to "Hmmm, yeah, if you could all come in on Saturday for a 16 turn 12 turn 8 that'd be greaaaaat" seems like a terrible penance.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

There must be someone else there, too.
