Vetern's Day

Post by randy »

Put out my flags this morning. The National Colors, as well as smaller USAF and POW/MIA flags.

The smaller flags were a gift from Michael (of blessed memory), my next door neighbor. Proud Navy vet, USS Eisenhower Grape (fuels)... helped load coffins from storage on to helicopters to take to Beirut in October 83.

He's the one that dragged me into the VFW when Korea Defense was added to the qualifying criteria.

So here's to him, and all of my Brothers and Sisters, those that served, and those still serving on the line against the barbarians.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
