Not that old, but officially old now...

Postby g-man » Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:13 pm

Turned 40 a couple of weeks back. Not too bad.

However,

Got fitted with my hearing aids today. Mumble mumble, race bikes, mumble, machine-guns, mumble Army.... it was really about time. Turning 40 didn’t make me feel old. And it’s not that the hearing aids necessarily do. But damn I’ve been missing out on a lot of sound.

Now git off mah lawn!

Bless you! My son's your age and I'm happy you both have stuck it out so far! Old is HOW you feel, not what you are!
I'm not old--It's too early to be this late.

Could be worse. I'm 54...and had cataract surgery on my left eye two weeks ago.

Well, I started feeling old when I recently had to get bifocals at 44.
