Only took 3 minutes for someone to notice.
Flintlock Tom neglected to take any photos at the dinner this year. Perhaps someone will post something from dinner.

Hey! A belated THANK YOU! to Rumpshot for all the work putting together the gathering this month.
Virginia and I really enjoyed the fellowship, shooting, firearm "show & tell", and the food.

Thanks also to Kommander for baby-sitting the shooting site and sharing his knowledge about some of my Mil-Surps.

Also, I ended up with someones fleece-lined stadium blanket. It was, very considerately placed over my guns so they wouldn't fry in the sun. If the owner will e-mail me an address I'll see that it is returned with my thanks.

Thanks, Chris, for watching over my guns.
Maybe I'll pass it back at the next meet-up.

My pictures from RRIV are posted online here.

They are full sized, unedited and in the reverse order they were taken. Be prepared for a long download time.

So first up you see the "Springfield"/US Gov basic issue weapons family photo. Sequentially they are Flintlock Tom's Trapdoor Springfield, 30-40 Krag, 1903 30-06, 1943 (actual year of manufacture), M1 Garand, missing in action the M14, then my recent build of AR15 (stand-in for an M16).

As you go down the page you see various members and others from TGC shooting/sitting around. The last pictures (as posted, first actually taken) were of Kommander shooting his bp pistol.

Mike, you can see that much that was an issue for range visibility is no longer a problem. :D
