And if you wear the Black Watch tartan, the 1911 is mandatory.

Gee Tom,
Now you got me looking at that Amerikilt. What would the TexaKilt ensemble be? Tony Lama boots and tooled western style BBQ gun and holster/belt combolike this from Mernickle?

Classic photos Tom. I especially liked the NoR shirt in the second photo. Great.

Along those lines, what was the occasion for the second photo? I did not recognize the background.

Tom what brand is your Black Watch kilt? I have been thinking of getting something more traditional.

This was at a TEA party rally in downtown San Diego (Spanish Landing), back in April, I think.
Open carry is legal in CA with a few restrictions. The mag in the gun is unloaded but the mags in the pouch are full of hollow-points. Shhh, the bad-guys don't know the mag in the gun is unloaded.

The kilt was from:

I found mine for sale on e-Bay. First class shipping was only $10.

Kommander: sorry for the thread-jack.

I knew OC was legal in CA, and remember the article you were interviewed for. Somehow, I got myself under the mistaken impression, though, that "unloaded" meant an empty magwell. Mea Culpa.
