Hey all,
My girlfriend knows i'm into 2A stuff and I've taken her shooting a few times. She's decided she wants to learn more, and in the local library she got "Armed in America" by Patrick J Charles. It looks like he;s presenting himself as a legal/historical expert supporting the collective theory, and it looks like he's been cited by a bunch of liberal appeals courts and Breyer in his McDonald dissent. Does anyone know of any books/scholarly articles and other refrences that present the individual rights side well that I can use to show her the right view?
Thanks.

Maybe a bit heavy to start on, but you might like:

I haven't read this, but I catch her on the radio sometimes talking about it.

Paxton Quigley's book Armed and Female is mostly about self defense for women, but may interest her since it's written from a female perspective.
