Fantastic News! Enjoy your minion.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

Wonderful news. Congratulations, to all involved!

Welcome to the world, little buddy!

Welcome to the most wonderful sleep deprivation and mortal terror you're likely to experience, proud parents!

Baby boy, [name not chosen], was born at 5:26 pm. 8 lbs 3 oz. Mother and baby doing great. Drinks are on me.
1. I recall a scene in one of the "Thin Man" movies with William Powell shooting the glass globes off their Christmas tree with his brand new air pistol while Myrna Loy looks on calmly.
2. They knew the sex of the baby a long time ago and still haven't decided on a name?
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

They each had a list. Each one hated all the other's favorites. Turns out "Uriah" was on both lists that neither one hated. Odd way to pick a name, but who am I to judge. I just hope he never serves under someone named David.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

That's basically how we came up with my daughter's name; each of us kept throwing out ideas until we found one that we both liked. In the case of my son, I had decided what his name would be long prior, and Mrs. NPR hated it initially. I held out and eventually wore her down, and afterwards she had to admit that I really got it right. 8-)
