Stolen Parrott Rifle - Tucson

Post by Rumpshot »

The following info came to me via email from a trusted friend.

Last night Walt's cannon, limber and trailer were stolen from his home in South Tucson.

The stolen cannon was our Parrott rifle, so the tube will be black cast Iron.

Please help us spread the word.

If you see or know of anything, PLEASE contact Walt at (520) 664-6739 or the Tucson Police at (520) 791-6813

...why would someone steal one of those.

It's not as if you can go into a pawnshop and say, "Here. Buy my cannon."

For the same reason people steal unique art works, maybe? Because they've already got a buyer, who just wants the item, and is willing to get it however they can?
