Very. Nicely. Done. I was confident that you'd find a way to avoid honest employment after leaving Uncle Sam's Misguided Children.

You should also offer some training about the legal aspects of self defense, too.

The first rule of talking to the police is STFU.

Better to find a lawyer or somebody who is otherwise more qualified to speak to the legal aspects... One thing that's always bugged me about CCW classes in general is the legal training from non-lawyers. In the class I took 21 years ago, one of the other students happened to be a lawyer, so it was good to have his input.

Not touching the legal aspects with a 10-foot pole. Part of being a leader is knowing when someone else can do something better than you.

But I'll definitely look into scheduling classes for it as part of my job.

FYI, I've heard recently that one of the best things to do is to give a reason to hang up on 911 after the "I've just shot a guy in self defense at 123 ABC street! Okay, I need two hands now for first aid..." **click** I guess it's so they don't record anything that you're saying afterwards.

I think you're better of to think passive voice, e.g. "There has been a shooting at..."

I know at least one of the local CCW trainers brings in a lawyer specializing in self-defense to provide the related portions of the training.
