Expecting 1/2 of a set of twins.

Yes, the post title is as football-bat as it first appears.

This post explains why.

tl;dr version: Wife is expecting twins. One has a condition incompatible with life post partum. So after getting our heads wrapped around the idea of bringing home twins, we get shitty news at the anatomy scan and are planning a nursery and use of bereavement services at the same time. I was angry at God for a while, but through grace have received peace. Still hurts a lot though.

That's rough. Mrs. NPR and I faced some challenges having kids, but nothing like that. Our thoughts are with you.
