I ordered the first three used in dead tree format. They'll be here shortly.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Finished all four of John Ringo's "Black Tide Rising" series about the zombie apocalypse. It got worse, not better and I agree with Ringo, the 4th book wasn't needed.
Oh, I don't know, the fourth book had lots of stuff that sorta tied up the loose ends from the first three books.

But, as the Darlin' Daughter says, if they ever cure ADHD, Ringo will be out of work, since he delights in flinging stuff here and there to see what sticks. And doing it on a coffee-and-Red-Bull fueled binge.

Currently? An Accident Prevention Plan and an Environmental Protection Plan. I did recently gift a new copy each of Starship Troopers and Freehold to a friend who hadn't read either. I suspect he'll end up working through the Williamson/Ringo/Correia catalog sooner rather than later.

Lately, the compiled incident reports of the CSB.

The allyl alcohol release at MFG Chemical in Dalton Georgia was just a great big WTF to chemists everywhere.

The NDK Crystal explosion in Illinois was particularly interesting because it shows how not to operate a pressure vessel at 20K psi and 800 degrees in a corrosive environment.

It's a sad thing when you order the first three MHI books, and the second and third arrive before the first.

If you've got a Kindle-compatible device, Amazon had the first one up for free recently. I guess, as Larry says, they follow the business model of crack dealers, i.e., your first score is free.

I just linked to it.

You can also get a Kindle program for your computer.
