I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist subversion and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

I hope that you all will not think less of me for my extraterrestrial origin or

Even for California this one was over the top:
Proposition J would have imposed a $98 annual levy on homeowners, $60 for each unit of multi-family housing and $450 on commercial/industrial properties.
...
Supporters said the parcel tax would provide a consistent stream of local funding that can't be affected by the whims of Sacramento legislators.
It would have actually give the local school board the authority to decide who has to pay the tax.
Over 60% voted NO!
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear dines on human flesh!

Spotted a Kodiak bear in 1971. My room-mate ET3 Tom Lilley and I were looking for a good place
to do some plinking, so we went west on Armory Road below Barometer Mountain. He was carrying
his Sako FinnBear in 7mm Magnum and I had my Remington 1863 rifle-musket in .58 minie.
On the road about a quarter-mile away was something that looked like a brown VW Bug. Suddenly
the misconception was revealed as nine feet of bear stood up to have a look at us. We were
seriously under-gunned and were relieved when the bear strolled away west while we ran like hell
back east. Had a similar encounter with a Polar Bear at Point Barrow.

If 458 SOCOM is the appropriate AR caliber for wild boar, what is the appropriate AR caliber for hummingbird?

At a party a guy cornered a girl and whispered something in her ear.
"You filthy pervert!" she shrieked. "What makes you think I'd let you do a thing like that to me?"
Then her eyes narrowed and she said, "Unless you're the s.o.b. that stole my diary..."

Adult wipes are soothing to sunburn on the face, neck and arms as well.
I'm not old--It's too early to be this late.
