Dear Subscribers,
We lucked into a warehouse overstock of Hawke Endurance
riflescopes and snapped them up for a bargain price. These scopes
are brand new, in-the-box, and under full warranty. We're selling
them way below suggested retail but don't let the low price fool
you. They are really nice scopes: Fully multicoated crystal clear
lenses, Fast Focus eyepiece, low profile dust covered target knobs.
And, they have MAP8 Ballistic reticles that you can program with
the FREE Hawke BRC software.
The price is tempting, but I've got a drawer full of 'bargain' scopes. It looks a lot like a Tasco, which is also for sale at the same bargain price @EABCO (http://www.eabco.com/Tasco02.htm). It might even be made in the same factory.
Not that it's bad, but a lot of glass is made in China and the Philippines these days.
They seemed to like it, but it was the higher end "Frontier" series.
I've had a few bad experiences with moderately priced scopes. Of course, these never happen on a warm, sunny day at the range, but in cold, wet, marginal light conditions on a hunt. I've resolved to stick with rock-solid scopes like Zeiss.
