Mig engines on a tank

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

They also use those for de-icing runways.

The Russian/Soviet army used something similar for decontaminating armored vehicles. MiG-17 engine mounted on the bed of a truck, spraying decontamination slurry. You'd run your contaminated T-72 between two of them.

Those engines look to be a tad bit larger than VK-1 (MiG-15), or VK-1A (MiG-17) jet engines. If scale is correct, the engines from a bomber, perhaps the TU-16, or the transport derivitive are perhaps the source. If actually from a MiG, then the earlier MiG-25 might be the donor. Then again there is always photoshopping. 8-)

Edit: I've stood next to the aft ends of the MiG-15, MiG-17 and the MiG-21, and thusly have a good idea how large they are, and the nozzles on that tank appear to be far larger in diameter. /Edit.
