Two new grip sets.

Post by Cybrludite »

Found these on Amazon, of all places. First up on the Humidor of Doom is the solid white mother of pearl grips mounted on my Auto Ordinance GI 1911. Not nearly as pearlescent as the usual "mother of bowling ball" grips you usually see.

Next up is a mother of pearl inlay of a peacock on a red background. This set, I'm thinking, needs to go on a full-on barbeque gun. The grips are gorgeous, but don't really look right on a plain parkerized 1911.

Dang. There are some things even a New Orleans pimp won't put on his gun.

It's hard out here for a pimp.

Nice shop! I'm thinking some engraving with the finish being either matte nickel or black chrome.
