It is purty.

Always kind of wanted a 10mm 1911 but still can't justify the price.

Any word on magazine compatibility?

I have a Kimber 10mm 1911 and a Colt 10mm 1911. Their magazines don't interchange.

I can't see getting a Ruger 10mm 1911 and have another 10mm single stack magazine that looks exactly like my other 10mm single stack magazines, except they won't fit and feed in any other gun

What is FLGR? I'm 1911 ignorant, but also 1911 curious.
Buy ammunition and magazines.

Full length guide rod. But why the hate? I've shot 1911s that had those installed for the weight they put out front and never experienced an issue (unlike the plastic Shok-Buff buffers...)

My baby Kimber (aluminum frame Pro Carry) has the bull barrel and FLGR, and I've had no issues or problems with it. It's my regular carry gun, and goes through at least 100 rounds a month, and has for several years.

It's not the way I'd have set it up, if I was building one from scratch, but got no complaints, either.

No hate. I just have no use for FLGRs. I always replace them with standard guide rods in my carry guns.

They improve accuracy, but decrease reliability. Also they hinder one-hand reloading and clearing.

Thank you for the clarification - my only 1911 experience is a Springfield GI with the tiny sights.

Now, me - I'm 10mm curious. Why is it better than .45 ACP? What's worse about it? What problem does it solve?
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D
