Cost to change front sight?

How much would a gunsmith charge to change a post front sight to fiber optic? The new Ruger revolvers in .22 LR green fiber optic sights really work for me and my wife- the Charter Arms prices really work for me in convincing my wife! Or is it a wash?

If the existing sight uses a standard dovetail, it's a pretty quick and easy job. Probably his base minimum hourly rate + cost of the replacement sight, unless you're providing the replacement.
If it's not a standard dovetail, and he has to do machining to fit, then it's going to cost a good bit more.
