How the AN-94 works

Forgotten Weapons takes a look at the Russian AN-94 rifle. I think it can best be described as the bastard child of Thomas A. Swift and Rube Goldberg and it's no wonder why they haven't dirched the AK-74M for it.

Yes, comrade. We will put most of a rifle action inside of another action so we can shoot two bullets before it recoils.

One of those 'we heard you like guns, so we put a gun inside your gun' memes seems appropriate here.
