Due to budget constraints, the current status of the USS Guncounter project has been downsized:
I don't think the Oerlikon will fit.

Thermite isn't really that hard to make, but igniting it can be a cast-iron bitch. Or home-made napalm, for that matter. (It's harder to make, but easier to ignite.)

If you look at powdered aluminum on amazon, it shows red oxide and magnesium tape as "frequently bought together"
