Old guns going on the block. New Pics added 10/18

Post by tfbncc »

(I have cleared this with the moderators)

It seems I have a new project for the rest of the year. My best friend for the past couple of decades is an avid firearm collector. He's been collecting for the past 40 years or so. Now, he has an extensive collection, but he has a problem. His kids have basically let him know that they are not interested in the collection, so there is no point leaving it to them. He needs to make some room, so he has decided to sell off a good portion of the collection, take the money, and go have some fun. But since he still works full time he doesn't really have the time to run the auctions himself. That's where I come in. He asked if I would do it for him. He's my friend. Yes, I would do it. Besides, now I get to fondle all the fun stuff. Over the next few weeks He has planned to sell off about 80 pistols, 100-120 rifles, and 20 or so shotguns. I'm gonna enjoy this.

I've told him about the characters here on the board and that we love to see old guns. The moderators have told me it's OK to put up a link to my auction page. So, If anyone here is interested in something, drop me a message.

Now I know you guys are waiting for the good stuff. Pics of the guns.

The Mak has a reserve price of $300. My friend wants me to set the price as set in the 2015 Blue Book of Guns values. Original box, two mags, extra set of grips, and a cleaning rod.

This is going to be a fun, but expensive thread, I can tell already. :D

I wish you the best of luck, unfortunately my "new gun slush fund" is sitting at 200 bucks. May you find it a good home!

Please tell your friend I like his style. I will be watching this thread with breath abated, and wallet hidden!

If he had any old revolvers, I might be interested. Hand-ejectors, or Single Actions, that sort of thing.
