Mossberg 151M(a) 22 auto

Postby Candyman » Sat Apr 07, 2012 2:14 am

I picked up this little Mossberg 151M(a) back in Feb of this year. I did some repair work for one of the local pawn shops and traded the work for the rifle.
It's one of the growing number of the project rifles I have at the house.
It's a little ugly right now, but should clean up ok.

The sights will need to be replaced. Looks like these came from a 30-30.

I'll have to find a set of original swivels.

I already have a rear sight located for it.

Not sure if I will go with a complete refinish or just a good clean up.
Do not relish to feel what the men that used these weapons felt when they saw the elephant. For the elephant has tusk and to see him is to have his tusk dig deep into your soul. You will always have a part of you that will be cold and empty.
