Lot #

Post by AndytheAxe »

I was going to take my new rock island to the range again and I grabbed a box of Federal .45 I had laying around. When I opened it I saw the ammo had rust and corrosion. It's surprising since it's brass ammo that's been sitting inside in a normal humidity mid atlantic home for 2-ish years. I was wondering if anyone know where to look on the box to find the lot # to contact them? It doesn't seem to be well marked. The box says it's the "champion" line not the "American" line if that matters.

I think most of Federal has their lot # on the inside of the box flap.
