Opinion on Estate buckshot?

Post by Greg »

Estate 00 buck is $80/case at Midway. Good stuff?

I've been meaning to lay in some more buckshot....

I've shot a few hundred Estate 12 gauge 2 3/4" 00 shells through my 870s and 500s. Nary a problem. No experience w. their 20 ga or 3" 12 ga, though.

Estate = Federal's Discount brand.

Never used their buckshot, but they are some of my favorite dove/quail loads.

Shot a lot of their dove/trap loads. Been fine for me in my inertial semi-auto (Franchi I-12 which can be finicky with light cheapo loads).

Thanks guys. I have yet to find any Federal ammo that I'm unhappy with. :)
