It was our late mutual friend Rich R of the monstrous facial hair who recommended Remington Target to me. Probably early 90's. Very few duds in my S&W 617, and more accuracy than I could make use of.

Might explain why mine have done well. I found about 500 rounds loose in ziploc baggies when my grandfather passed away. I've only used them with old bolt actions. They're not good for accuracy, but as plinkers I haven't had much trouble. Seems I got lucky!
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.
