Looked like he was getting decent grouping on the windshield though.

Good on him. I'm impressed that he was so tactically aware, prepared and able to get into battery in time to run them off.

POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Looked to me like the perps were pretty determined and had specific mayhem on their minds when they bailed out of the car. Kinda like they had been there before and felt a little put out over something.

And it looked to me like the homeowner put two quick rounds into the windshield of the car before he drove away. If that was ME doing the shooting, it certainly would have been more than those two rounds, but I almost suspect he had a malfunction or something to stop him from continuing to shoot. He could have easily killed the driver.
