Kennedy had been drinking at a local golf course and his blood-alcohol level of 0.26 was more than three times the legal limit of 0.08 for driving in Colorado when he pulled up outside Parsons' house in his pickup. Friends and family members believe he thought he had arrived at his own home, which he shared with roommates at 3212 N. Institute St., one block to the west at the same house number.

I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around '22yo golf pro'. Excuse me? Everything I know I learned reading Golf for Dummies (and Tommy Armour's little red book) and I'll bet I've forgotten more than this dude knew...Courses in CO hard-up for talent?

They could make one of those commercials about "just one more way alcoholism kills." A tragedy any way you look at it.

Supports my long lived contention that every homeowner needs a big snarling dog (or two)
It causes most folks to reflect on their level of interest in entering a home that is clearly not their own.

According to SometimesObviousAgendapedia:
The term "Make My Day Law" comes from the landmark 1985 Colorado statute that protects people from any criminal charge or civil suit if they use force - including deadly force - against an invader of the home.[1] The law's nickname is a reference to the famous line uttered by Clint Eastwood's character Dirty Harry in the 1983 film Sudden Impact, "Go ahead, make my day."

I missed it, but I gather that Bill O'Reilly may have talked about this case on Tuesday night. Did anybody catch it?

Yep, he had two of the lawyer babes from Fox debating it. One didn't like it, the other explained it was "castle doctrine". O'Reilly was all for it, said people had a right to defend themselves and their homes.
one can be a Democrat, or one can choose to be an American.
Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.
