Multiple Taser Hits Have No Effect on Suspect Attacking Dog

Linkarooni - Like many tools, Tasers might not affect everyone it's used on. Just something to keep in the back of your mind should you ever need to zap someone - have a backup plan/tools/weapons (or other people with you to pile on):

SAN DIEGO — A combative man possibly under the influence of methamphetamine was shot with Tasers and wrestled to the ground in University City Sunday afternoon after attacking a police dog.

The man was seen at a Mobile gas station on La Jolla Village Drive just west of Interstate 5 about 4:45 p.m. where he was acting irrationally, Capt. Brian Ahearn said. “He did not appear lucid or coherent,” Ahearn said.

He was mumbling to himself and going in and out of the store and then he stole an ice cream and got into his car and drove off, Ahearn said.

An officer followed the man east to La Jolla Village and Lebon drives where he stopped the car on his own.

Officers repeatedly ordered him to surrender but he refused to comply.

He then got out of the car and “keyed in on the dog,” Ahearn said.

Ignoring police commands he walked right up to the dog and punched it
, the captain said.

He fought with the animal, which bit him several times, until officers were able to wrestle the man to the ground and handcuff him.

He was shot with Tasers multiple times and they seemingly had no affect, Ahearn said.

The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for bite wounds and then booked into jail on several charges including resisting arrest and assault on a police dog.

The dog was not injured, police said.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

I'm going to guess: "Increasing occurrence of Zombie attacks!"
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

"man fought with dog"... somehow that's not the way I see that happening. More like the dog was getting some ass.
