A big chopper - Browning Crowell Barker review

The Camp Knife or chopper type knife design is new to me, but seems to be pretty popular. I dipped my toe in the water for a $85 Browning Crowell/Barker. It has a big blade of 1095 steel about 3/16" thick, micarta handled, has a tapered tang, came PD sharp, along with a nice leather sheath. I've been using it to cut back overgrown hedgerows (mostly using a sawbladed weed wacker and small chainsaw) and it does effing chop!! Rarely requires a second swing to get through stuff up to 3/4". I like it. The knifetests nutjob seemed to like it, and didn't break it until he was hammering it through a concrete block. I like it and for <$100 I think it's a pretty good big knife.

For a similar price, the Woodsman's Pal has been around a long time and seems to be pretty popular.
