A.G. Russell Knife Event,
John Q. Hammons Convention Center,
Rogers, Arkansas.

Friday, July 24 - 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 25 - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, July 26 - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Exhibitors will include 130 of the world’s finest makers of handmade folding knives and fixed blades of every size and style, plus fifteen of the top U. S. manufacturers, including companies that have been around for years like Buck and Gerber and very new companies like Canal Street Cutlery and Great Eastern Cutlery.

Friday evening beginning at 8 p.m. there is a reception for exhibitors and guests in the attached Embassy Suites Hotel. This is an excellent opportunity to talk with your favorite knifemaker or manufacturer.

On Saturday evening, there will be a Buffet beginning at 6:00 p.m. followed by round table discussions, which will start at 7:30 p.m. Topics will include “The Prepared Knife Collector”, to include discussions about which knives you might want to collect, ideas on knife care and storage, record keeping, insurance, etc. This discussion will be presented by long time knife collectors. There will be a presentation, and a question and answer session, regarding the current threat to folding knives from U. S. Customs. This session will be conducted by the American Knife & Tool Institute. AKTI is an organization made up of manufacturers, custom knifemakers, retailers, distributors and individual knife owners, formed to protect and advance knife ownership. The latest information on this topic will be discussed.
