How would I know? Mine looks to have a varnished finish with a copper band around the tip. I bought it maybe 20 years ago, IIRC I found it in an Irish gift-shop, the kind of place that sold lace, sweaters and CDs of bagpipe music. Genuine or not, I wouldn't want to get hit with it.CByrneIV wrote:They're spectacular... try to find one... particularly try to find one that hasn't either been ruined with a chemical finish, or dried out.MarkD wrote:How about old-fashioned Irish Blackthorn?
