Byrne Send-Off Dinner (Scottsdale, AZ, March 6th 6:00pm)

Post by MelodyByrne »

Since we're suddenly moving in 18 days, we'd like to set up a dinner to say good-bye to y'all.

The best dates for us are Thursday, March 11th (we're leaving on the 14th and we have family obligations on the 12th) or all of the preceding weekend March 5th, 6th, or 7th.

We're thinking of going to Arriba Mexican Restaurant in North Scottsdale, which is budget and CCW friendly (made a public statement about not putting up the signs in any of their locations).

I'd like to hear from everyone who would like to come as to what would be a good night, time, etc. I'd also like a general headcount so we can warn the restaurant if we have a big group.

Rumpshot and Glenn Bartley, I really need you guys to chime in because I believe you have the most restrictive schedules.

We leave for CC's Shoot on the 11th so I can't make that date. The 5th or 6th would be fine with me but Rudy has to stay home.

Count me in on any of those dates

About what time are you looking it? Would have to drive back to Tucson for work the next day on a couple of them.

6:00pm or so. Nothing too terribly late.

I can/will make it on any night but the 7th. I work evenings Sun, Mon, and Tue.

So it looks like we'll be doing it the 5th or the 6th. Any preferences?

Let's split the difference and make it the 5th and a half. I'd say most folks would be better off with the 6th myself but can make either date.

May I offer you and your clan and early welcome to Idaho!

We need more conservative refugees to balance out all the liberal refugees we get from the other lesser states. :D

Oh and have a safe trip. According to Google its 1400-1500 miles depending on if you go through Idaho falls or Boise. That's a LONG road trip.
Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

Either date is good, see y'all there.
