I to love the A-10. Cost effective, good all around tool. Just like a shotgun.

JAG: So why do you need armor piercing ammo?
tcourtplayer: Zombies
JAG: For when they hide behind engine blocks?
tcourtplayer: Just because the movies say they will be dumb and slow doesn't make it true.
JAG: WOW!!!

This little piggy was one of mine. Sometimes I miss it, then I remember all the Raven Bites, the difficulty in getting to the "will never fail" components when they fail, the mess from the hydraulics, the fuel leaks from the dump mast fuel tank sensors that always seemed to be out of tolerance, being stuck on the flightline at 2am trying to replace a cotter pin on the castle nut of a pitch-roll mixer assembly by touch with a 40mph January wind sneaking its way past your field jacket, uniform, and thermals... and then I kind of miss it a little more.

I don't care what the Eagle drivers say, the EF-111A got the first kill in Iraq.

The ones I fly the most in FS2K4 are the P38, B26 (the Maruader), C-47, PT-17, BT-13, T-6 and after that they just keep going, and going...

The Link SR-71 simulator is being installed at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas' Love Field. They also have a FB-111 simulator being set up next to the link. Check out the back of the FB-111 simulator and see how many aerospace legends have signed it. Dick Rutan and Walt Cunningham are just a couple.
