That Israel hasn't parked tanks and bulldozers tread to tread, driven south, and pushed all of Gaza back into Egypt proper is testimony to their longsuffering.

If San Diego received 200 homemade rockets launched from Tijuana for two days in a row, on Day Three Baja California would become the newest US territory all the way to La Paz, and by the end of the week, you would not find so much as one native Mexican residing there undisturbed: we'd ship them all back to the mothership in haste, and in perpetuity.
And if Mexico was very, very fortunate, we wouldn't start carpet-bombing the Distrito Federal until it resembled moonscape.

And let's talk turkey on the "Palestinian" problem: Gaza is not populated with "Palestinians". It's populated with Egyptian Arabs that Egypt doesn't want back, just as the West Bank is populated by Jordanian Arabs that Jordan doesn't want back.

Palestinians live in Israel, vote in elections, and have seats in the Knesset.

This, Gaza is about 3 miles deep and around 20 long. Bulldozing that much real estate would count as "urban renewal" in some cities.
