I just looked that up. I really wish I hadn't.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

HTRN, I would tell you that you are an evil fucker, but you probably get that a lot ~ Netpackrat

about the OP and about face call...

don't really understand the outrage here. If ever there was a man who'd done more disrespect to the office or damage to the institution...
Some historical basis exists for the people turning away as he passed -- he wants to be a monarch, he can get treated like a monarch.

Of course, I wouldn't have been on the side of the road to watch that motorcade in the first place.

Whut Yogi said.

Those guys sought out the opportunity, and tried to make a statement while doing it. That makes them assholes.

Now, if you're standing in line at the Burger Barn, and His Majesty walks in to snag a bacon cheeseburger, you're cordially invited to snub him, but to go out of your way to insult him is simply asshole-ish behaviour.

Pretty much. Any time you find yourself pre-arranging, setting up or posing a 'spontaneous' demonstration, you are by definition a douchebag.
