There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

Yeah, I know that ISIS are assholes and people should be able to walk around their cities without worrying about being killed.

But somehow I can't get too worked up about this. Something about chickens, home and roost.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

"Islamic extremists" don't give a damn who they kill. Everyone who is not them is the enemy. Again the Religion of Peace (my ass) proves they can't even get along with each other.
Birds gotta swim, fish gotta fly, assholes gotta ass, until the day they die.

"Common sense" is an oxymoron.

ISIS and Iran are contenders for the same throne. Both want world domination of Islam, both see themselves as the rightful head of the Caliphate.

It's kinda like watching a wasp land on a scorpion. You know somebody's gonna get stung, and you really don't care which one it is.

Indeed. And for the same reason, it's only a matter of time until the marriage of convenience with Turkey ends, and Turkey finds itself on the chopping block too.

Except that Turkey also lays claim to the Caliphate headship.

Indeed. Which is why I just predicted that the marriage of convenience between ISIS and Turkey will inevitably end - both parties aspire to leadership of the Muslim world as Caliph. The prediction you just quoted.

Which is the same reason conflict between ISIS and Iran is inevitable and is underway, as you say.

With Chaos, aka God of War Mattis working an envelope and annihilate strategy, the days of ISIS as a nation state player are numbered. Their influence will morph and attempt to co-opt others just as they did from AQ in Iraq and Baathist Sadaam leaders into AQI before that. Looks like recent Taliban/ISIS conflicts in A'stan may have something to do with ISIS trying find a theater to retreat into and regroup and adapt.
