Need help/recommendation.

Post by Rich »

Finally decided I need my very own copy of the Koran, in English, and preferably hard cover, though trade paperback will suffice. Cost is a factor as I'm not made of money.

A Kindle edition would also be appreciated.

It seems all I see are in Arabic or other script, or perhaps I've been hanging out in the wrong neighborhoods.

This might be an option.

I've just ordered one for free from all of those places. They're sending it to work.

If it costs them money to send me their book, it's money that they aren't spending on terrorism.

Thanks all. Wound up ordering one from AbeBooks (the penguin classic) and another from Amazon (plus an e-book for my Kindle).

I swear every time I searched I felt I was being led deeper into fluffy-bunny land with all the emphasis on peacefulness right there in the title(s). So, I decided that ir was "just me" and I needed to get some other eyeballs on the job.

This one is great, too. Great source work on Islamic texts including the Koran.

I already have that one, I think. If I'm right, it's in a storage locker where I can't immediately get to it.

Story of my life.
