That's what killed my all time favorite reloading source, lock stock and barrel. Rumor is, during the credit crunch of 2010, the bank called in their loan (probably to pay off their loans that got called in), and it killed their business.

I know, right? Everything they carried was at least decent quality, and they were usually the cheapest for the stuff they carried.

For Cabellas, it wasn't debt or profitability. It was activist investors (led by Elliott Management Corp) buying up stock and raising a big stink about returns.

Bass Pro is either private or closely held, so they don't give a crap about that stuff.

That is terrible news about LSB. They were great to deal with, and they used to ship to me in USPS flat-rate boxes. By far the cheapest method from the US. Hard to find others who will do that, and DHL/UPS/FEDEX and their ilk are all silly expensive.

Er no, that's not the Bass Pro way. The Bass Pro way is to sell overpriced clothing and have a piss-poor selection of anything you actually want. They also sell Bass Boats.
