As I reflected this morning on the Book of Face, he's probably not an NRA member, but sure as shit, we'll get blamed for it.
OTOH,
He(Omar) just lent some credibility to Trump's idea of suspending immigration of Muslims, particuliarly those from certain countries.
Shooter was a US citizen, child of two Afghan immigrants, born here. How exactly would an immigration ban prevent this?

He had been investigated by the fbi twice, 2013 & 2014, for suspected radicalized islam connections.

It wouldn't. But one would think prevention of *future* occurances might be a good idea.

No point in investigating an aircraft crash, because that fucker's a smear on the ground already, right?

I understand from another website that he had automatic weapons.
Considering the goals of the media and how educated they are about the things they write so passionately about, I wonder if this will be verified or go down the memory hole.

If this can't be hung on every other gun owner in America, will it be hung on "homophobia, intolerance, and Islamophobia" so our kindergartners can experience the indoctrination of reeducation camps and sexual abuse by being informed about deviant sexuality at age 5?
Yes, he shouted "Allahu Akbar" and he was a very devout Muslim, and Isis claimed some sort of credit, and reportedly automatic weapons were used, and he was investigated in 2013 and 2014 for "being radicalized", but we can't be too hasty blaming this on his religion. After all that's the religion of peace, and remember the Crusades. Maybe he was unhappy about his mortgage interest rate.
If this isn't an accurate quote, you can bet every media whore from Maine to Hawaii was thinking this as the reports came in.

I regret having never spent any time in the military. My vocabulary is completely inadequate for fully expressing the breadth and depth of my anger and frustration with the actions of our authorities.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

I'm sure they'll find some way to make this all OUR fault. *grumble*

Gee. What possible reason could a Muslim have for murdering homosexuals?

A military career is not absolutely necessary to adequately express your feelings. It can, however, add a certain flavor to the inevitable invective that those on the receiving end so richly deserve. Sometimes, only the foulest of language will get your point across punctuated with a sharp rap with a 2x4.

For decades, the general population and congress has turned a blind eye to the fact that we are embroiled in a religious war. Dating back almost to the beginning of our country. As long as they continue to do that, we will always be a soft target. No amount of wishful thinking, progressive legislation, or re-writing of history will change that. It's long past time to man up and harden up if we are to survive.

Well, FOX is saying 50 dead, 53 wounded now.

Actually, it is a miracle the enemy haven't done this a lot more often and started doing it some years ago. You don't need a bomb to make a big terror attack in America. All you need is a gun or three and plenty of spare magazines.

But yes, the press and the scum balls in Washington DC are going to find a way to blame this on anything but the religion of pieces.

Well some would say that's the problem right there. I read elsewhere that his father was a bit of an extremist as well, just not quite so gone to start shooting people.
