Not really. We're stuck with recorded history, as such, which is pretty thin on the ground there for most of time.
And "kick the Jews" originated far from Europe, and around 1400 BC, so later antics in that line are just piling on.
The events of the 1920s were the first time the sport was recognized and rather organized.
Just like pictures, kinescopes, projectors, and sound recordings had many fathers, it took Edison to make a talking movie out of them.
In the same way, the freikorps were the first to take the cottage business of scapegoating, industrialize it, organize it, and put a brand on it.

OTOH, feuding with the neighbors has been a European pastime since before they had language; some people are better at it (e.g. classical Rome, Napoleon), others not so much (modern Rome, modern France). As long as one doesn't escalate to the others, well and good.

But this is the first grassroots effort in a long time that looks like it's got legs, and more support on the ground than any government or group of same can tamp down. Pretty much exactly like the 1920s in broke-dick Deutschland. And this time they've picked the actual guilty goat, which changes things somewhat.

Given the objects of the exercise, I counsel staying out of this one and waiting to see how it goes for the present.
I expect they'll screw the pooch in due time, but you have to let kids fall down so they can learn to walk.
