Glass did find in her research “that being an active member of a religious congregation no matter the faith suppressed divorce, especially if your spouse also attends with you.” But, she said, “the highest rates of divorce occurred for church attending conservative Protestant wives married to non-attending husbands.”

That's what the scripture means by "unequally yoked."
If you're not pulling in the same direction you get pulled apart.
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Like much of Biblical advice, it's common sense.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.
