5-0 29 minutes into the game! :o :o

Kinda reminds me of the Denver Donkeys getting blown out in another Stupor Bowl!

THAT is definitely going to leave a mark.

SWEET.

At work but catching a bit of the game in the lunch room from time to time.

WOW is all I can say. Very lousy defense from Brazil. Lots of unmarked guys in or close to the box. The Germans pass way to well for that.

The Germans love it when the other team attacks and they can counter attack against an unset defense. Very few teams can get away with attacking them full bore (the Spanish in the last WC comes to mind). Obviously, this Brazilian team is not one of those teams.

It's 7-0 now.
Brazil came out in the second half and seemed to want to restore some dignity, but after some great saves by the german goalie they seemed to run out of steam.
The germans seem to focus on defense, and then make the occational attack. And they are very effective when they do.

The commentators here talk about the biggest win in a world cup ever was 1938 when Sweden beat Cuba with 8-0.

Game is over. Score is 7-1.
Germany almost made 8-0, and then lost focus for a moment so Brazil could do a chance attack at the end and score once, a minute before full time.

7-1 final. Wow.

I'm not a big "futbol"/soccer fan, but I started watching the World Cup games to follow the USA team. When I was in Germany in 1990, the country was still celebrating their WC win, "Deutsche Weltmeister" was everywhere. Watching German pro soccer, they do take the game to another level.

Makes the ol' US of A look better, don't it?
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.
