Just ahead of being forcibly removed by the courts, apparently. Since the board which kept him in office will still be in place, we will see if this will make any meaningful difference.

Yep, gotta start somewhere.

Not sure it's the way to bet, though. Looks like they flirted with relevance, and then decided "Nah." They went and endorsed Dade Phelan again down in TX (see Lawrence Person's Battleswarm Blog for more on Phelan).
