Not any great surprise to anyone who has worked with actual Asians from Asia, as opposed to the ones who grew up over here.

Being in academia I see this a hell of a lot. Chinese investigators will bring in only chinese lab members unless there is some political need for having a non-chinese in the lab. The labs in general will not talk with or associate with non-chinese at or outside work. They have no qualms about screwing over non-chinese labs by taking material and ideas. Generally the only reason they are tolerated by institutions is because they are partially or wholly funded by china who pays for the salary of the lab workers as well.

I would contend that attempting to exterminate competing ethnic groups in one's vicinity does have a great track record of success. The stronger cultures have tended to assimilate them.

That does not mean that multiculturalism is better, but I suspect it is transitory in the big picture.

Chinese (and other East Asian) racism; the racism its victims dare not speak about.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

Well, Biden is sending an emissary to a security conference in Munich, so he's on track to be the Neville Chamberlain of the 21st century.
The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

Neville Chamberlain at least had a change of heart after the invasion of Poland and served with distinction in Churchill's cabinet throughout the war.

Since Biden has never learned a thing nor served with distinction anywhere, I think asking him to be Neville Chamberlain is simply too much to ask.

I spent a lot of time in China. Chinese like to talk about their "Multi-culturalism" with "99 minorities" (I forget the exact number, but it is more than the dozen or so that is on us.gov forms).

Yeah, laughable. I've seen some of these "ethnic minorities". They look Chinese. If they were in a lineup, you would call them Chinese. Their prettiest girls, who look identical to standard pretty Han girls, get dressed-up in some "ethnic minority" costume and parade around at china.gov sponsored events.

What's even more laughable is some of these "ethnic minorities" have a population of about 5,000. Yes, you read that right. 5,000 in a country of 1.4 billion. The largest "ethnic minorities" are Tibetans and Uygurs at about 5,000,000 each. The only way you can tell the Uygurs is the men wear little white Muslim hats. If they took off their hats, I couldn't pick them out of a lineup in China.

Anyway, here is a good summary from a politically incorrect magazine: https://www.takimag.com/article/the-unicultural-edge/
