He may not even carry Austin. O'Rourke has pissed off a lot of moderate Democrats in the state with his lockstep dance with Pelosi and his stupid statements. For the most part, unless you're a Hispanic, or a Black in Houston, you're an old fashioned Democrat.

Wendy Davis, born in Rhode Island, moved to Texas, was a Fort Worth city council member, then represented a state district in Fort Worth area in the Senate. She filibustered the Texas Senate for 11 hours about abortion. We called her Wendy Red Sneakers and she lost to Abbott by 20 points.
