No, just like any religious zealots, they are firmly convinced, in their own minds, that they are on the side of the angels. Or, since they have disavowed God, that they are on "the right side of history."

The "don't be evil" boat sailed back in 2010, when Google willingly hopped into bed with Beijing to censor search results in the PRC (guess it was good practice for what they're doing everywhere now).

I didn't know Google was censoring search results in Commiefornia (People's Republic of Commiefornia), but it would make sense since I get different results using Bing.
