Motorcyclist Mugged by Cop

Post by Catbird »

Okay, not exactly mugged. Back on 16 August, a motorcyclist named Alex Randall was pulled over by a plainclothes sheriff's deputy driving an unmarked car. He didn't identify himself as a policeman until about 30 seconds into the encounter. The motorcyclist was wearing a GoPro on his helmet and recorded the whole thing. (Youtube channel here)

I remember hearing about this at the time. The internal investigation of the incident was completed and released last Friday. The deputy might get 10 days suspension. He has been on paid [strike]vacation[/strike] leave since last August.

Way back when, at San Diego PD, if he (the detective) pulled that kind of shit, and especially if it was recorded and broadcast - giving the department a black eye, he would have been suspended for at LEAST 30 days, if not fired! I HATE bad cops!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
