NBC News was forced to run a correction on its website Wednesday after it incorrectly referred to New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez as a Republican.
He used to be a Republican.

I know people who have dealt with him (or tried to) directly. He's dirtier than a $5 whore's pussy after fleet week.

The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
