He shouldn't have shot the Dindu in the back, but he was an even bigger fool for pleading guilty to ANYTHING.

8 Years In WA For Defensive Shoot
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

Yea I saw this and thought that he had a really good chance of getting off given what had happened to his wife. He still might have ended up in prison but I don't know if he could have ended up any worse off than he did. I wonder if some sort of personal code of honour he had lead to his plea.

Yep. Should not have pled.
Seriously.
Of course the dindu is a convicted felon.
Here's his burglary conviction.
Not sure what happened in 2004, when he was a minor, but it was something else in superior court.
The dindu was 21 and he's already had 2 felony convictions*. From the looks of things, this guy did society a favor.
*From what I see, it looks like he had a burglary and an unlawful imprisonment.
If I was on the jury, my vote goes to, "Not guilty because the deceased needed killing."

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

And because he plead guilty (did I mention he was a fool?) he can't appeal the conviction or sentence.

That first superior court case could have been them sealing the dindu's juvenile record.
