Well, the 9th Circuit is usually overruled anyways by the Supremes, so.....

This is not unexpected.

Even in Louisiana, the state supreme court has ruled that the right to CCW is subject to "reasonable restrictions", and that shall-issue CCW permits pass strict scrutiny.

What needs to happen in Kalifornia is that Californians need to put a proposition on state wide ballot for "shall issue" CCW.

Then that means there should be a right to openly carry arms, right?

Nope. Open carry is verboten in the PRK.

But it's OK. Change is coming.
The answer lies in the fact that there are two types of laws: just and unjust. I would be the first to advocate obeying just laws. One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws. I would agree with St. Augustine that “an unjust law is no law at all.”

We should never forget that everything done by Adolph Hitler was "legal", and everything done by Hungarian freedom fighters (against the Communists) was "illegal".
Any idea which tea-party attending, right-wing terrorist said that?

Uh, Washington? Jefferson? Broadway?
The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King.
Gotta include that Reverend part, the party of Slavery, Jim Crow,
and dogs and firehoses and Bull Conner want the nation to forget
the religious origins of MLK. Just as they want everyone to believe it wasn't religion
that prompted the anti slavery movement.

The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
