Didn't I just read that Putin has a homesteading plan for siberia? IIRC it's live there for five years and you get your acreage and can become a citizen.

Russia has done that in the past (the Volga Germans and others) - it did not go well in the end. I would not take the bet that it would work out this time.

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

I read about this. Only two and a half acres, and it's in Siberia.

Land in Siberia could be a good investment if any actual global warming happens in the near future.
